BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (BSIT)

The BS Information Technology program includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing information technology infrastructure that provides computing solutions to address the needs of an organization.
The program prepares graduates to address various user needs involving the selection, development, application, integration, and management of computing technologies within an organization.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INFORMATION SYSTEM (BSIS)

The BS Information Systems Program includes the study of application and effect of Information technology to organizations, Graduates of the program should be able to implement an information system, which considers complex technological and organizational factors affecting it. These include components, tools, techniques, strategies methodologies, etc.

Graduates are able to help an organization determine how information and technology-enabled business processes can be used as strategic tool to achieve a competitive advantage. As a result. IS professionals require a sound understanding of organizational principles and practices so that they can serve as an effective bridge between the technical and management/users communities within an organization. This enables them to ensure that the organization has the information and systems it needs to support its operations.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN MARINE BIOLOGY (BSMB)

The BS Marine Biology Program is concerned on understanding of the marine life and its ecosystem. BS Machine Biology graduates can take career paths in coastal and marine related professions including marine resource management. The global trend of Marine Biology is to highlight the function of biodiversity not only as a resource but as a strategy for resilience to global change.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN FOOD TECHNOLOGY (BSFT)

The BS Food Technology program focuses on a mix of pure and applied science, engineering, business and entrepreneurial skills. It aims to produce professionals who have the capacity to apply the science and technology and related fields of study in post-harvest handling preparation, processing, packaging, storage distribution and marketing of food to ensure food and nutrition security, safety, quality and environmental sustainability.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN FISHERIES AND AQUATIC SCIENCES (BSFAS)

The BS Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences program is designed to prepare well-rounded fisheries professionals with competencies in the principles and practice of fisheries science. It concentrates on sustainable aquaculture, capture fisheries post-harvest and aquatic resources and ecology. The graduates can contribute better to sustainable and responsible fisheries and total approach to fresh water and marine coastal management.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN AGRO-FORESTRY (BSAF)

The BS Agro-Forestry program is a multi-dimensional learning program designed to provide professionals with general competencies in the science, art, and business of managing and using trees and other woody perennials, agricultural crops and/or animals, and the soil-related ecosystem in the same unit of land, either zonally, mixed simultaneously, or sequentially for the twin purpose of conservation and socio-economic productivity.

BACHELOR OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION (BPA)

Public administration is a degree program that prepares people for careers in public administration and governance for the public interest. It is also a formation course for students who want to devote their life to public service in government and civil society.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN DISASTER RESILIENCY AND MANAGEMENT (BSDRM)

The Bachelor of Science in Disaster Resiliency and Management concerned to avoid hazards and mitigate their potential impacts by reducing vulnerabilities and exposure and enhancing capacities of communities. It establishes and strengthens capacities of communities to anticipate, cope and recover from the negative impacts of emergency occurrences and disasters. Moreover, it provides life preservation a meet the basic subsistence needs of affected population based on acceptable standards during immediately after a disaster. Finally, aims to restore and improve facilities, livelihood and living conditions and organizational capacities of affected communities, and reduced disaster risks in accordance with the “building back better” principle.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP (BS ENTREP)

The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship program relates to the fields of business administration, management, marketing, operations, human resources management, finance, economics, agribusiness, industrial psychology, and hotel and restaurant management. The program helps aspiring entrepreneurs acquire the skills, values, and attitudes that will increase their chances of success in the field of business. After completion of all academic requirements of the program, graduates of BS Entrepreneurship should be able to set up and manage their own business or work in any organization where entrepreneurial competencies are required.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN SOCIAL WORK (BSSW)

Social work education in the undergraduate level shall be geared towards the preparation od students for generalist social work practice. Professional education in social work requires the acquisition and application of beginning level of knowledge, attitudes, values and skills in enhancing the social functioning of individuals, families, groups, and communities, linking people with needed resources, improving the operation of social service delivery networks, and promoting social justice through organizing and advocacy.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT (BSTM)

Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management is a degree which focuses on the fields of tourism principles, geography and culture, tourism planning and development, business management and entrepreneurship, accounting and finance, laws marketing and promotions, airline operations, travel and tour operations, hotel and resort operations and tourism research. This program will equip students with competencies that are needed to execute operational tasks and management functions in culinary, accommodation, food and beverage service, tourism planning and product development, events planning, transportation services, travel and tour operations and other emerging sectors of hospitality and tourism industry.

BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (BSeD)

The Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSeD) is an undergraduate teacher education program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach in their chosen area of specialization/major in the secondary level. After successful completion of all academic requirements for the degree/program, graduates of BSeD should be able to practice the teaching profession in the Secondary Level.

The BSeD program draws from various allied disciplines like social science, science, math, technology. languages and humanities to ensure that the graduates have as multi-disciplinary preparation in content and pedagogy

BACHELOR OF ARTS IN COMMUNICATION (BACOMM)

The Bachelor of Arts in Communication  is an interdisciplinary program aims to develop knowledge in communication, media, and cultural studies alongside theoretical and practical skills. The communication methods learned and media training students get throughout the program are relevant to careers in advertising, public relations, organizational communication, and journalism. The curriculum for BA Communication program includes New General Education Courses, core course, required course, electives, and thesis/special project Creative and Performing Arts and New Media tracks shall be offered under the program. The following are the summary of courses as prescribed as minimum requirements to be implemented.

BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION (BTLEd)

The BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY AND LIVELIHOOD EDUCATION (BTLEd) major in Home Economics is an undergraduate teacher education program that equips learners with adequate and relevant competencies in the area of Technology and Livelihood Education, particularly for the TLE exploratory course from Grades 4-8.
