PANABO CITY – Institute of Computing Dean Mark Van M. Buladaco and Institute of Teacher Education Dean Arnold M. Duping were among the thirty selected participants nationwide to the training on Innovations in Teaching and Learning on Industry 4.0 and Smart Nation, part of the International Continuing Professional Education Program, organized by the Far Eastern University and Commission on Higher Education.
The virtual training was conducted last November 8 – 12, 2021 with the lead institution facilitator, Nanyang Polytechnic International in Singapore. The program hopes to identify and develop key academic managers from higher education institutions in the Philippines to serve as resource speakers in cascading knowledge and programs that promote inclusive, sustainable, and resilient communities through the integration of Industry 4.0 and Smart Nation.
The event has introduced future education models that highlight the value of smarter, mobile, comprehensive, and virtual education, as well as skills development. The deans are looking forward to utilize their learnings in helping the College produce students that are Industry 4.0 and Smart Nation-ready
