PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, through its Human Resource Management Office (HRMO) and Institute of Teacher Education (ITED), launched the Alay Aral ni Teacher Ed program, a lecture series aimed to prepare at least 42 non-teaching employees of DNSC under Job Orders, Contracts of Service, and even personnel with permanent positions (no eligibility) for the Civil Service Examination.
The lectures will run every Saturday from the last week of May to July of 2022. The earliest schedule of the examination in Region XI is in August. The reviewers are Dr. Arnold M. Duping for Verbal and Clerical Abilities, Mr. Maiko H. Anicoy for Analytical Ability, Mr. Ellvan M. Campos for Numerical Ability, Dr. Glenne B. Lagura for General Information, and an external resource person will facilitate the mock board examination and final coaching.
According to HRMO Raquel J. Edjec, it is important to provide employees, regardless of employment status, avenues for continuous learning and professional growth. This can help individual and organization performance, and is one of the initial steps to prepare a qualified set of candidates for the upcoming implementation of the Revised Organizational Structure and Staffing Standards for State Universities and Colleges (ROSSS).
