Davao del Norte State College, through its Research, Extension and Production Unit (REP), spearheaded a two-day activity; Writing Scientific Publications last September 22 – 23, 2019, at the College Audio-Visual Room (AVR).

It was participated by the representatives of the College’s four institutes, and was co-facilitated by the Institute of Aquatic and Applied Sciences. The write-shop was designed to further enhance the writing skills of the College’s faculty members, so that they would be able to submit scientific manuscripts to scholarly journals and conferences. The activity provided insights and training to the participants on the rigorous yet necessary processes of completing a publishable scientific article.

The resource speakers were Dr. Wilanfranco C. Tayone and Dr. Maria Cecilia L. Catubig of Davao Oriental State College of Science and Technology (DOSCST), and Dr. Arthur R. Bos of the American University in Cairo.
