𝐃𝐍𝐒𝐂 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫

Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) Bachelor of Science in Food Technology Faculty, through its extension initiative, successfully conducted a Basic Food Safety Seminar for Panabo City Night Market Vendors on June 24, 2025, at ABC Hall, Brgy. New Pandan, Panabo City. The seminar aimed to enhance the food safety practices of vendors in the night market.

This project is led by Ms. Ria Jayne A. Tabinas, Project Leader, with a team consisting of Dr. Leizel T. Esprela, Dr. Paquito Relox Jr, Dr. Jesebel Besas, Mr. Nenito Toledo, and Ms. Vanesa Eroy. Through this initiative, the team successfully assessed the current food safety knowledge and practices of vendors, equipped them with essential knowledge on food safety and regulations, and evaluated their acquired learnings. As a result, vendors are now better equipped to apply improved food safety measures in their daily operations, contributing to a safer and healthier food environment for consumers.
