The Davao del Norte State College, in partnership with the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges – Region XI (PASUC-XI), will host the 58th Annual Convention of the Federation of Institutions of Marine and Freshwater Sciences (FIMFS), Inc. This event serves as a vital platform for participants, presenters, attendees, practitioners, researchers, professionals, and students from local and national higher education institutions (HEIs), as well as international agencies and universities. The event will take place on July 23-25, 2026, in Davao del Norte State College, Panabo City, Philippines, aims to facilitate the exchange of research outputs, mentor emerging scientists, and address pressing challenges in marine and freshwater ecosystems.

Online submission of abstracts is open until 20 June 2026 and Presenters/Attendees will receive a Notice of Acceptance within five (5) working days of submission via the official FIMFS email (fimfs@dnsc.edu.ph)

Registration Fees
  • All fees are non-refundable.
  • The conference registration fee applies to only one author/participant.
  • Registration fee details will be provided in your Notice of Acceptance. This will include information on the educational tour and the official bank details.
  • Accepted presenters/participants are entitled to full access to all conference sessions, the welcome reception, conference kit, certificate of participation, social and networking programs, as well as complimentary lunches and coffee breaks.
