Accepted abstracts for poster presentation shall submit a soft copy of their posters in PDF (.pdf) format.

SUBMISSION

  • Deadline: 30 August 2026
  • Submit via email: dsfc@dnsc.edu.ph
  • File name format: POSTER_Thematic area keyword_surname of corresponding author_first three words of abstract title
    Example: POSTER_FONE_Santos_Mangrove Restoration Assessment

POSTER SPECIFICATIONS

  • Size: 40 x 30 inches / 101.6 x 76.2 cm (height x width, portrait format)
  • Labels/texts should not exceed 600 words
  • Must be readable from about 2 meters distance
  • Poster presentations shall be printed on a tarpaulin by the author/presenter and given to the secretariat during conference registration.

POSTER SECTIONS

  1. Title – Most prominent block of text with the largest size (at least 75 pt); concise and quickly orients the audience.
  2. Authors and Affiliation – Usually placed below the title; includes email address of corresponding author.
  3. Introduction / Background – Briefly presents the importance, motivation, hypothesis, and objectives.
  4. Materials and Methods – Briefly presents the procedures; preferably more diagrams/charts and less text.
  5. Results – Presents the key findings; includes analysis or interpretations; may use subheadings.
  6. Conclusion – Summary and significance of findings; may include areas for further study.
  7. References – Keep to a minimum; smaller font size than the body text.

BEST POSTER AWARD
One (1) best poster shall be selected from each thematic area based on evaluator scores during the presentation. The Best Poster must have a score of at least 85%. If no poster attains 85%, no Best Poster will be declared.
