Abstract Guidelines

2nd Davao Sustainable Futures Conference 2026

Formatting Requirements

  • Must be written in English, single space, using Times New Roman font size 12, A4 Size (8.2″ x 11.7″) paper.
  • The body text should not be more than 300 words.
  • Use only one page; margins should be set at 1 inch throughout (top/bottom/left/right).
  • Follow the formatted abstract template provided.
  • Abstract should be saved and submitted in MS Word file format.

Required Contents

  • Title
  • Author(s) name
  • Authors’ Affiliations
  • Authors’ Address
  • Email address of the corresponding author
  • Keywords
  • Conference theme to which the paper abstract relates (select one)

Additional Formatting Notes

  • Title should have a maximum of 25 words, in bold, with the letter of the first word in uppercase and scientific names italicized.
  • Indicate the presenting author by underlining the presenting author’s name.
  • Indicate affiliations with a superscript number before the author’s name and in front of the appropriate address.
  • In case of multiple authorship, the presenter’s name should be underlined.
  • Keywords should represent the content of the manuscript and are specific to the field or sub-field. Use 3–5 keywords or phrases (of 2–3 words) separated by a comma.

Abstract Review Criteria

Submitted abstracts will undergo evaluation by two reviewers and may be accepted or rejected based on scoring criteria and alignment with the conference themes.
