Oral Presentation Guidelines
B. Oral Presentation
- Accepted abstracts for oral presentation may submit a full paper manuscript in consideration of the Competing Papers (see the Competing Paper section below).
- Deadline of submission of manuscript shall be on 20 June 2026 and submitted through the email of the FIMFS 2026 (fimfs@dnsc.edu.ph), with the following file name: ORAL_ Thematic area keyword_surname of corresponding author_first three words of abstract title.
Presentation Guidelines
- Presentation must be made by the principal author or one of the authors.
- Only one presenter per paper.
- Only the presenter shall be awarded a certificate of presentation.
- All presentations must be in Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt).
- The Organizer shall provide a LED Screen or LCD Projector.
- Text slides should be easily read from a distance of about 15–20 meters.
- The maximum duration for presentation is 10 minutes. An additional 5 minutes will be allotted for questions from the evaluators and audience
Competing Paper
One (1) best paper shall be selected from each thematic area from an average score from three (3) reviewers based on the submitted full paper and Oral Presentation performance using the criteria below. The Best Paper should have a score of at least 85%. If there is no paper that attains a score of 85% then there shall be no declaration of Best Paper.
Evaluation Criteria
a. Written work – 70%
- Research Relevance or Impact
- Statement and identification of research problem
- Research design and procedure (materials & methods)
- Presentation of results
- Discussion and interpretation of results
- Conclusions
- Writing style and organization
b. Oral Presentation – 30%
- Delivery & Organization
- Competence of Speaker
- Response to Questions
- Timing
