PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), through its Quality Assurance Office, recently conducted another round of Internal Quality Audit for 2024. This audit is part of the ISO 9001:2015 re-certification requirements, aimed at continuously assessing the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the College’s Quality Management System (QMS).

The audit commenced on July 25 and concluded on August 6, encompassing a three-day evaluation of various processes outlined in the procedures manual, as well as several other offices. Both new and veteran members of the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) team visited various offices and presented their findings during the closing meeting.

Dr. Ma. Melanie N. Edig, Director for Quality Assurance, highlighted the numerous benefits of the College’s commitment to ISO standards. She emphasized that this commitment facilitates the establishment of both academic and non-academic processes, the utilization of documents for other accreditation and evaluative instruments, and serves as a testament to DNSC’s dedication to quality and excellence.

During the opening meeting, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Reir Erlinda E. Cutad, encouraged process owners by stating, “This audit is a stepping stone to learn, grow, and make a difference. Compliance is not just a responsibility; it is also our show of accountability.”
