On the Students’ Orientaton last August 23, 2017, Web Master Ian Jay Padios, Web Graphic Designer Jeymar Alfarero and Web Content Manager Czarina Nicole Lara Lanes led the launching of the college’s revamped official website. Although the website is still on its transition process, the team targets to improve its already commanding standing as the TOP 170 in the ranking of College and University Websites (http://webometrics.info/en/Asia/Philippines?page=1) all over the Philippines.

Last August 25 – 27, 2017, Jonilyn Tejada trained Compostella Valley’s Local Government Employees under their Information Technology and Communication Development Division on coming up with mobile applications using IONIC Framework.

Mark Van Buladaco also represented the college to the first Compostela Valley Information and Communications Technology Council (CVICTC) meeting on August 29, 2017 at the SP Session Hall, Provincial Capitol. He shared how the college’s IT-related extension projects could help LGUs improve and become more efficient.

Wait, there’s more. Ian Jay Padios conducted a 2-day Linux Management Training from August 30 – 31, 2017 at the Tourism Conference Room, still in Compostella Valley. These extension activities were made possible through the partnership between DNSC-IIT and PGU ComVal-ITCDD for Continuing Professional Development and Capability Enhancement.

DNSC hopes that its expertise in Information Technology would change and improve the society.
