PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, through its Office of the Guidance, Counseling, and Testing and Job Placement Office, produced the 2nd Virtual Career Guidance Summit, featuring presentations that would help senior high school students get to know more about the program offerings of DNSC, career opportunities of the program offerings, and admission process. The Livestream of the activity tallied 10,445 social media users reached and 6,464 engagements, which included reactions, comments, and clicks.

Mr. Dan Louie D. Mejos, from the Department of Labor and Employment Region XI, delivered a talk on Labor Market Information and how it was affected by the pandemic. Afterwards, academic institutes that have undergraduate programs gave brief presentations of their offerings and services. This was followed by an information dissemination of the enrollment requirements, admission process, and online registration demonstration done by the College Registrar, Head of Admissions, and Technical Support Services Unit.

Officials from the college delivered their messages of encouragement and invited graduating senior high school students to enroll to DNSC. An open forum was facilitated toward the end of the activity. More than 200 senior high school participants were able to join the Zoom room and the others viewed the summit in the official Facebook page of DNSC. The activity is part of the preparations and marketing initiative for the upcoming Academic Year. The online admission for the Academic Year 2022 – 2023 will commence on June 01, 2022.
