PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, in partnership with The Open University – United Kingdom, National University of Singapore, and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, United Kingdom, are set to kick off the Writing Academic Paper Seminar Series 2022 with its first session; Communicating Local Scholarship for International Audiences.

The session will be streamed live via the official Facebook page of DNSC on February 10, 2022, from 4:00 – 5:00 in the afternoon (SGT). Inputs and insights will be given by Dr. Marvin Joseph F. Montefrio, an assistant professor of Social Science (Environment Studies) at Yale-NUS College and an affiliate faculty of the Department of Sociology at the National University of Singapore. He is trained in the fields of environmental sociology, environmental and economic anthropology, political ecology, and ecological economics.
Dr. Exequiel C. Cabanda, a postdoctoral fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore, will chair the session discussion. The activity is facilitated by the Internationalization and External Affairs Office of the College, headed by Mr. Daniel Fritz V. Silvallana. The activity is open for online public viewing.
