[RECAP] Strengthening Innovation Pathways: DNSC Joins Regional Training on Technology Transfer

Strengthening its role in advancing innovation and research commercialization, Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) took part in the two-day regional training โ€œTechnology Transfer Protocol for the Region: Strengthening Regional Innovation and Commercialization Pathways under the Regional IPTBM (RAISE Program)โ€ held on April 15โ€“16, 2026, at the University Hostel, University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP).

Organized under Project 4 (Project 1C): Strengthening the Intellectual Property and Technology Business Management (IPTBM) through the RAISE Program Phase 2, the activity convened representatives from various institutions to strengthen collaboration and align initiatives aimed at enhancing regional technology transfer systems. The program is funded by DOST-PCAARRD and implemented by SMAARRDEC.

During the training, participants were immersed in discussions on technology transfer protocols, intellectual property management, and strategies for translating research outputs into viable, market-ready innovations. The sessions highlighted the importance of structured systems and collaborative approaches in accelerating the commercialization of research-based technologies.

Representing DNSC were Dr. Mark Ronald S. Manseguiao, Project Leader, and Ms. Princess D. Romanillos, Project Technical Assistant III, whose participation reflects the Collegeโ€™s commitment to strengthening its institutional capacity in innovation and technology business management.
