PANABO CITY – A total of 22 jobseekers were hired on the spot during the Davao del Norte State College Job Fair 2025, held on June 19 – 20. The event gathered 261 jobseekers, including graduating students, graduate school students, and alumni, who came to explore employment opportunities and connect with potential employers.

Organized by the Job Placement Office and Alumni Affairs Office, the two-day fair was made possible through the support of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW). The first day featured a career preparedness talk designed to equip participants with practical knowledge on resume writing, interview skills, and strategies for entering the job market. The second day was dedicated to on-site recruitment activities, where applicants had the opportunity to engage directly with employers and undergo interviews.

A total of nine local companies participated in the event, namely: ACES Panabo, ACES Tagum, Savemore Market, SM Supermarket, Franklin Baker, NCCC, Gaisano Panabo, Segworks Technologies Corporation, and Bridge Digital Transportation. Of the participating employers, SM Supermarket, Savemore Market, Gaisano Panabo, and Alorica extended immediate job offers to 22 successful applicants.

The DNSC Job Fair 2025 reflects the college’s continued commitment to supporting the career development of its students and alumni by creating strong industry linkages and providing platforms for employment.
