Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!  

PANABO CITY — A total of 541 cadets completed the Basic and Advanced Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) Program during the Graduation Ceremony and Turnover Rites of the Corps Commander and Staff of the 723rd NROTC Unit (Affiliate) of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) on June 5.

The completers included 479 cadets from Military Science 1 and 2, 26 from Naval Science 31 and 32, and 36 from Naval Science 41 and 42.

In her opening message, DNSC NSTP Coordinator Razul A. Atowan said, “Today marks not only the completion of the training program, but also the affirmation of your commitment to leadership, integrity, and service to the nation.”

DNSC President, Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa, reminded the cadets of their duty, saying, “In times when loyalty is often questioned, whether to personalities, political parties, or administrations, please remember that your ultimate allegiance is to the Philippines and to the Filipino people.”

Guest speaker, Capt. Liberty C. Gamueta PN (GSC), commander of the Naval Reserve Center Eastern Mindanao, highlighted the graduates’ role in national defense, “You are a force multiplier and an essential component in safeguarding our sovereignty, protecting our people, and supporting community development.”

The ceremony also included the turnover of command from outgoing Corps Commander Cadet Colonel Thrisia Mae S. Mangubat to incoming Corps Commander Cadet Captain Ace B. Jimenez, symbolizing the formal transfer of leadership and responsibility within the corps.
