PANABO CITY –The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) has granted Level IV Re-accredited status to the Davao del Norte State College’s Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) program with majors in English, Mathematics, and Sciences.
This accreditation, which represents the pinnacle of program quality under the AACCUP system, is valid from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2030. The conferment follows an on-site re-accreditation survey conducted on October 17, 2025. During the assessment, DNSC demonstrated full compliance with the agency’s standards and satisfactorily addressed all mandatory recommendations from prior evaluations.
The official result, signed by Dr. Milabel E. Ho, AACCUP Executive Director, certifies the program’s sustained excellence across critical areas, including curriculum and instruction, faculty qualifications, student services, research, and community extension. The on-site assessment was led by accreditors, Dr. Sherrilyn B. Quintos and Dr. Jaime M. Forbes.
The Level IV status is a nationally recognized benchmark for academic excellence. For DNSC, it reinforces the institution’s standing as a premier hub for teacher education and a boost to its continuous pursuit of institutional quality and improvement.
