PANABO CITY – The Management Team and several office heads of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) traveled to Bansalan, Davao del Sur, for the annual Yearend Planning held on December 11-13, 2024.

The event began with a welcome address by College President Joy M. Sorrosa, who expressed her appreciation for the efforts in upholding DNSC’s commitment to providing excellent education and service to its stakeholders. The deans, directors, and vice presidents presented their accomplishments and plans for 2024.

Notable achievements included the first graduation ceremony of the College Education Behind Bars program, the admission of deaf students, the International Research Festival 2024, the launch of BUGSAI TBI (DNSC’s technology business incubator), the accreditation of several programs, the increasing number of student enrollees, and the development of systems by in-house programmers for more efficient and paperless processes.

Additionally, DNSC was recognized as the Most Sustainable and Liveable University for its efforts in conservation, resilience, and sustainability. Future plans include improving student retention and graduation rates, offering a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, activating an additional institute, and rolling out the Strategic Plan 2024 – 2029.
