PANABO CITY – The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office XI recognized Davao del Norte State College’s Job Placement Office (JPO) as an outstanding JPO for the impressive implementation of its employment programs and services for the Fiscal Year 2022.

The award was received by DNSC Job Placement Officer Maricielo Paula E. Funa during DOLE XI’s 2022 Year-End Performance Assessment on December 1 – 2, 2022 at Dagat ni Baste Hotel and Beach Resort, Pantukan, Davao de Oro. Awards and recognition were also given to other public agencies and local government units. The awarding was led by DOLE regional director, Atty. Randolf C. Pensoy.

The Job Placement Office has been actively linking with industry players, private and public offices, and employers to create opportunities for employment for DNSC students. It also conducted skills development activities and job fairs to prepare the students as they transition toward the employment world.
