PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), represented by College President Joy M. Sorrosa, participated in the Higher Education Summit held from March 10 to 12, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Carrying the theme “ACHIEVING Sustainable Futures: Transformative Higher Education for Human Capital, Innovation, and Global Responsibility”, the summit served as a platform for leaders of Philippine higher education institutions to align institutional priorities with transformative sectoral reforms. The event also brought attention to the formal unveiling of the ACHIEVE Agenda, including its strategic pillars and pathways aimed at strengthening the role of higher education in national development and global engagement.

During the summit, DNSC entered into a ceremonial partnership with Basilan State College (BSC) to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The partnership aims to advance joint initiatives in instruction, research, and academic exchange, guided by the principles of equality, reciprocity, and mutual benefit.
