Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!  

PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College is participating in the 2026 Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Annual Convention and General Assembly from July 13 to 15, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila, joining state universities and colleges (SUCs) across the country in shaping the future of Philippine higher education.

Anchored on the theme, “Transformative Leadership and Strategic Governance: Empowering SUCs for Sustainable and Inclusive Futures”, the three-day convention serves as a national platform for higher education leaders to exchange insights, strengthen collaboration, and discuss innovative strategies that will advance institutional excellence and responsiveness to emerging challenges.

Representing DNSC at the convention are College President, Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa, Dr. Nickel Jean S. Lagare-Sastine, Dean of the Institute of Advanced Studies; Atty. Loreville Pinoon-Fontanilla, Head of the Legal Services Unit; Dr. Melissa G. Dalumay, Director for Presidential Affairs; Ms. Felicidad L. Forro, Director for Records and Admission; Mr. Rodrigo Jr. B. Sumuob, Director for Learning Resource Division; Mr. Joshua P. Elardo, Director for Institutional Planning and Project Development Division; and Mr. Sam Hendrick C. Amatong, Administrative Officer V of the DNSC Santo Tomas Campus.

By the conclusion of the convention, participants are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the evolving opportunities and challenges in higher education, identify leadership and governance strategies that strengthen institutional resilience, develop actionable insights for institutional planning and development, expand partnerships and collaborative networks, and contribute to a shared agenda for advancing the SUC sector.

The convention features a series of plenary sessions focusing on key priorities in higher education, including translating national education reforms into institutional transformation, strategic administration and governance innovation, strategic partnerships and innovation ecosystems, entrepreneurship and the knowledge economy, legislative support for globally competitive SUCs, future-ready learning ecosystems, academic excellence and internationalization, digital transformation and data-driven governance, organizational development and institutional capability building, collaborative leadership, and strengthening research, extension, innovation, and commercialization ecosystems.
