PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), represented by DNSC President Joy M. Sorrosa and Vice President for Academic Affairs Girley S. Gumanao, joined 21 other State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for future academic and research collaboration. The ceremony was participated by the SUCs under the guidance of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Commissioner Shirley C. Agrupis.

The MOA signing was a key highlight of the Mariano Marcos State University’s (MMSU) 47th Founding Anniversary, celebrated at Teatro Ilocandia, MMSU Main Campus, Batac, Ilocos Norte, on January 21, 2024. The initiative is designed to promote dynamic partnerships in academic and research pursuits, fostering innovation and collaboration among SUCs.

Following the signing ceremony, the attending SUC officials toured MMSU’s cutting-edge laboratories, research facilities, and innovation centers, offering them a firsthand look at the university’s contributions to academic and scientific advancement.

This partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening inter-institutional collaboration in education and research. By pooling knowledge and innovation, the participating SUCs are poised to elevate the quality of education, research, and community engagement in the Philippines.
