PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s Quality Assurance Office (QAO) conducted the Internal Quality Audit Training last January 23-24, 2025. It was held at the College Hostel Function Hall and Gender and Development Building Conference Room.
The training was attended by 21 returning and 13 new internal quality auditors. Prof. Sevetrim B. Torrejos and Ms. Joena Marie A. Martinez served as resource persons during the event. Their sessions focused on equipping participants with the skills and knowledge to conduct effective audits aligned with organizational standards. The training aimed to enhance the participants’ competencies in identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring compliance with established processes.
During the opening program, Dr. Ma. Melanie N. Edig, the Director for Quality Assurance, delivered her Welcome Remarks and explained the rationale of the activity. The new IQA auditors included; Mr. Fhernand B. Bugais, Mr. John Jefferson L. Dela Cruz, Mr. Jeff B. Doblas, Dr. Princess A. Driz, Mr. Raymart D. Elizaga, Mr. Michael P. Gatchalian, Ms. Christelle G. Gerona, Engr. Christian Paolo A. Mora, Ms. Rachel Anne T. Ramos, Mr. Rey John B. Rebucas, Mr. Rodrigo B. Sumuob, Jr., and Mr. Jhun Rey A. Vistal.
The IQA team is now prepared to contribute to the organization’s pursuit of excellence. This event underscores the organization’s ongoing efforts to uphold a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
