PANABO CITY – House Bill No. 11344 or “An Act Converting the Davao del Norte State College in Panabo City, Province of Davao del Norte into a State University and Appropriating Funds Therefor” was submitted for its third and final reading in the House of Representatives on February 3, 2025.
Lobbied by DavNor 2nd District Representative Alan R. Dujali, the bill aims to elevate Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) to university status, enabling it to expand academic programs, enhance research capabilities, and strengthen institutional development.
The proposed measure has received widespread support from students, faculty, and local government officials, who view the upgrade as a catalyst for educational and economic growth in the region.
