Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!  

PANABO CITY – Four students from Davao del Norte State College (DNSC): Alexis Claire E. Aplaca; Norylie A. Mendez; Ammar A. Salih; and Maryam A. Salih, participated in the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) Summer School Program: DYNAMIC 2025, held on August 3-8, 2025, in Surabaya, Indonesia. They were accompanied by Frincess Jade C. Cajano, DNSC International Mobility Office.

DYNAMIC, which stands for Discover Youth Industrial Innovation and Management at Airlangga’s Course, was hosted by Universitas Airlangga. The program was given to selected students across the region and featured immersive experience in innovation, sustainability, and leadership.

On day one, the delegates attended a course introducing Indonesia’s entrepreneurial framework and business ecosystem. Discussions centered on the country’s key drivers of growth, government support mechanisms, and emerging opportunities in the ASEAN market.

Day two presented ideas on Technology Disruption and how it transformed Indonesia’s business landscape. The discussant explored the impact of digital transformation in areas such as fintech, e-commerce, and green technology. In the afternoon, participants visited the Surabaya Heroes Monument and Gallery, an iconic site commemorating Indonesia’s struggle for independence.

Day three was dedicated to industrial immersion. Delegates toured Gojek, where they learned about the company’s tech-driven approaches to mobility, logistics, and digital finance, and later visited Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned energy company, for an orientation on its operations and sustainability initiatives.

The program culminated on day four with group presentations, where students shared reflections and proposed solutions on innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. The week closed with a cultural showcase celebrating ASEAN heritage and diversity.
