Over the course of three days, participants engaged in sessions covering a wide range of topics vital to both personal and institutional development. The first day focused on gender and development concepts, environmental policies, health protocols, finance processes, and human resource guidelines on working hours, dress code, compensation, and leave administration. The second day tackled mental health and wellness programs, employee rewards and recognition, scholarships, hiring and recruitment processes, ISO 9001:2015 QMS awareness, performance management, and the Citizen’s Charter. On the third day, the orientation featured discussions on data privacy and cybersecurity awareness, library services, information systems updates, ICT request handling, Microsoft 365, and performance target setting for faculty.

Dr. Emmanuel P. Abuzo, Associate Professor III from the Institute of Teacher Education, shared that the program gave him the foundation and mindset to contribute meaningfully to DNSC’s culture of excellence. “Beyond professional growth, I was deeply moved by how DNSC genuinely embodies a family atmosphere that invests in its people,” he said.

Similarly, Jeffrey Casas Gomez, a utility worker from DNSC Carmen Campus, expressed gratitude for the knowledge he gained, noting that he became more aware of the institution’s policies and guidelines, which will help him carry out his duties more effectively.
