
PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) faculty member, Dr. Glenne B. Lagura, served as resource speaker in the Youth in Governance: Empowering Future Public Servants through Participatory Leadership and Global Citizenship Seminar, held on August 26, 2025 at the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) Kampar Campus, Malaysia.
Dr. Lagura’s visit, which ran from August 25 to 30 under the faculty mobility program, was hosted by the Center for Business and Management and the Department of Business and Public Administration of the Teh Hong Piow Faculty of Business and Finance (THP FBF), UTAR.
In her message of appreciation, Dr. Au Yong Hui Nee, Dean of THP FBF, highlighted the significance of DNSC’s participation in the exchange, stating, “Dr. Lagura’s contributions during the visit were deeply valued by our academic community. We are especially grateful for your role as a guest lecturer, where your insightful lectures greatly enriched our students’ learning experience.”
His engagements in Malaysia included onsite lectures for selected classes, a virtual seminar, collaborative meetings with UTAR faculty, and other activities that strengthened cross-border partnerships. This initiative builds on the renewed Memorandum of Understanding between DNSC and UTAR, which supports joint projects, faculty exchanges, and international training opportunities.
