PANABO CITY – In preparation for the upcoming fiscal year, Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) conducted the Crafting of the Work and Financial Plan (WFP) for FY 2026 on September 22, 2025, at the Gender and Development Conference Room. The activity brought together planning and budgeting personnel, along with fund managers, to align institutional goals with available resources and ensure a strategic direction for the College’s programs and initiatives.

The activity opened with the Presentation of the FY 2026 Institutional Targets delivered by Planning Officer II Shierly Rose L. Distor. This was followed by Planning Officer I Dally Mae G. Poliquit, who discussed the Guidelines on the Crafting of the WFP. Budget Officer III Jennifer L. Bordios then presented the Budget Prioritization and Allocation per office and unit.

On behalf of College President Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa, Director for Executive Affairs Melissa G. Dalumay emphasized the significance of the activity, stating, “This planning process allows us to reflect on how we utilized the previous year’s budget allocation and prepare for the upcoming fiscal year. In light of recent reports of large-scale corruption in various sectors of government, amounting to billions and leaving many of us frustrated and disheartened, we are reminded of the importance of integrity in public service.”

Through this activity, DNSC continues to uphold the principles of responsible stewardship, transparency, and integrity in financial management, ensuring that every peso is allocated strategically in support of the College’s mission and institutional priorities.
