PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s new graduate school program offering, Master in Public Affairs, underwent the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) evaluation on October 17, 2025, held at the Gender and Development (GAD) Conference Room.

The activity was graced by Dr. Christopher Pio O. Pulido, Supervising Education Specialist of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XI, who introduced the CHED Quality Assessment Team (QAT). The team, composed of Dr. Noel Antonio Paz and Dr. Roselle A. Hardin, conducted the assessment to evaluate the program’s compliance and conformity with CHED’s Program Standards and Guidelines (PSG) for graduate education.

During the event, Dr. Glenne B. Lagura, MPAf program chair, presented an overview highlighting the program’s structure, objectives, and initiatives to ensure quality instruction and research engagement.

In her message, Dr. Girley S. Gumanao, Vice President for Academic Affairs, emphasized the importance of the evaluation as a reflection of DNSC’s dedication to quality education, “This certification we seek to obtain represents not just compliance with standards, but collective commitment to quality education, institutional integrity, and continuous improvement of the program.”
