PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College Faculty Association (FA) and the General Administrative and Support Services Organization (GASSO) jointly organized a donation drive and relief distribution for communities affected by the recent earthquakes in three sitios of Manay, Davao Oriental, on October 18, 2025.
The outreach team, composed of five faculty members and five non-teaching personnel, traveled to the affected areas to distribute food packs and essential goods to families impacted by the disaster. The activity aimed to provide immediate assistance and support the recovery efforts of residents whose livelihoods were disrupted.
The initiative was carried out as part of DNSC’s ongoing commitment to community service and disaster response, in alignment with its institutional values of stewardship and Love of God and Country. Through this collaborative effort, the College’s employee organizations reinforced their role in extending social responsibility initiatives beyond the campus and in contributing to regional disaster relief efforts.
