The Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) successfully held the DNSC Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025 on December 27, 2025, bringing together alumni from various batches of DaNSoF, DRIFT, LABSCHOOL, and DNSC in a meaningful celebration of unity, institutional pride, and shared legacy.
The event featured a series of activities that highlighted alumni engagement, community participation, and a collective vision for the future of the College.
Stride of Hope: A Color Run for Balay Alumni
The Homecoming officially kicked off with Stride of Hope: A Color Run for Balay Alumni at the DNSC Sports Complex. The activity was participated in by alumni, students, faculty members, and guest or non-alumni participants, who came together not only for fitness and fun but also in support of a meaningful cause.
More than a recreational event, the Color Run served as a legacy fundraising project dedicated to the establishment of the Balay Alumniβa future home and central hub envisioned to foster connection, collaboration, and continued engagement among DNSC graduates.
DNSC Balay Alumni Groundbreaking Ceremony
One of the most significant highlights of the Homecoming was the DNSC Balay Alumni Groundbreaking Ceremony, held on the same day as part of the program. The DNSC community gathered to witness the start of a long-envisioned project made possible through unity, generosity, and unwavering alumni support.
The groundbreaking marked more than the beginning of a physical structure; it symbolized the creation of a home that will stand as a lasting emblem of connection, pride, and legacy for generations of DNSC alumni.
Gala Night: A Celebration of Excellence and Fellowship
The celebration culminated in a festive Gala Night, which brought together alumni and guests for an evening of recognition, entertainment, and fellowship. The program featured live band performances, the official unveiling of the Balay Alumni, and the Hall of Fame and 40 Under 40 Awards, honoring distinguished and emerging alumni who have made notable contributions in their respective fields.
The evening also included a Meet and Greet (Social Night) that fostered renewed friendships and networking among attendees, capped by an exciting Raffle Draw that added to the celebratory atmosphere.
