PANABO CITY – The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP), a trusted evaluating agency of program offerings of state universities and colleges, awarded Level IV re-accredited status to Davao del Norte State College’s Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology (BSMB) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) programs.

Level IV Re-accreditation is the highest level given to deserving programs that satisfy AACCUP’s thorough assessment across various areas. The assessment is anchored on national and international standards, making the results as strong evidence of quality and excellence.

The programs were assessed on October 18 – 20, 2023 by esteemed AACCUP accreditors who are experts in the respective fields. With the attainment of the distinction, DNSC’s BSMB and BSIT programs are now part of less than 2% of programs nationwide that hold the Level IV re-accredited status.

The BSIT program is the sole information technology offering that successfully attained the level, making it as a hallmark of IT education. The validity of the accreditation is from November 01, 2023, to October 31, 2028.
