PANABO CITY – The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has announced the top three finalists in various categories for the Internationalization Champions of Nation Building and Sustainability Internationalization (ICONS IZN) Awards 2024. Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), through its Internationalization Initiatives and External Affairs Office (IIEAO), has been shortlisted for the Outstanding International Education Program Award.
The finalists were revealed on October 22, and the awarding ceremony will take place at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on October 25, 2024. DNSC is the only college among the finalists, which include both private and public institutions. Other categories include the Global Citizenship Award, Emerging Leadership Award, Internationalization Leadership Award, and Best Regional Office for Internationalization Award.
DNSC’s entry highlighted its Cultural Exchange Program, which provides platforms for sharing indigenous knowledge, traditions, and practices, enhances cultural awareness, and fosters cross-cultural communication and experiences.
