COMMUNITY EXTENSION PROGRAM GUIDELINES
Objective

The Community Extension Program of Davao del Norte State College, in celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, recognizes the importance of public service and emphasizes the college's commitment to community engagement and social responsibility. Davao del Norte State College Employees, Teaching and Non-teaching staff, shall actively engage with and contribute to different groups or communities in need. Each team will have the autonomy to select its target group and define the purpose of its engagement.

Guidelines
I

Project Selection

The identified group or community shall be the Davao del Norte Kapisanan ng May Kapansanan (DNK May K), which is the beneficiary last year.

The chosen project should align with their needs, ethical considerations, and demonstrate a positive impact on the selected group.

  • The teams are allowed to explore or do their own investigation on the best project they can offer to the selected community.
  • The proposed project should include a three-year continuity and sustainability plan.
II

Budget

Each team will have a budget of PHP 30,000 for the proposal, which is a practical and tangible way to support the initiative.

This budget allocation allows teams to plan and execute their engagement activities effectively, ensuring that they can address the specific needs of the chosen community meaningfully.
