PANABO CITY – The assessors from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region XI unanimously agreed to recommend that the Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) be accredited with the Bronze Award PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II in all Human Resource (HR) Systems pillars.

This announcement followed after the thorough evaluation conducted during the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) Onsite Assessment on February 22-23, 2024.

Led by CSC RO XI evaluator, Maria Fe A. Avanceña, along with Cris Valentin L. Lumba, Cristopher B. Palban, and Princess Daneca A. Gallardo, the assessment covered four crucial HR systems.

DNSC received a perfect 100% rating across all domains, including Recruitment, Selection, and Placement (RSP); Learning and Development (L&D); Performance Management System (PMS); and Rewards and Recognition (R&R).

During the closing remarks, College President Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa expressed the institution’s commitment to elevating HR processes. She stated, “It is our intent to really improve the processes and the system of the college, particularly on how we manage our human resources.”

Confident in overcoming challenges, Dr. Sorrosa added, “I am very confident that we can really surpass challenges and be recommended by the CSC.” The PRIME-HRM plays a pivotal role in enhancing and integrating HR competencies, systems, and practices. PRIME-HRM empowers government agencies in their journey toward HR excellence.
