Dance Drama
General Guidelines

The competition is open to all officially registered teams.

Each team shall consist of 10–20 performers.

The presentation must tell a clear story through a combination of dance, drama, music, movement, and theatrical elements.

Dialogue shall be minimal; storytelling should primarily be conveyed through movement, expression, and choreography.

The performance must be original and culturally sensitive.

This year's theme for the Dance Drama is:

Official Theme "Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan"

The use of offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited.

Costumes, props, and music should support the theme and storyline.

All performances must be suitable for general audiences.

The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

Competition Mechanics

Performance Duration

Performance duration is 4–7 minutes, including entrance and exit.

Stage Preparation

A grace period of 60 seconds may be allowed for stage preparation.

Music

Recorded music is permitted.

Props and Stage Properties

Handheld props and stage properties may be used, provided they do not damage the venue.

Safety

Dangerous stunts, pyrotechnics, fire, and hazardous materials are prohibited.

Safety Notice: All performances must be conducted in a manner that protects performers, organizers, judges, and the venue.

Time Limit Deductions

Teams exceeding the time limit shall incur the following deductions:

-2 Points 1–30 seconds over
-5 Points 31–60 seconds over
-10 Points More than 60 seconds over

Performance Order

The order of performance shall be determined through a draw of lots.

Criteria for Judging
Teams will be evaluated based on storyline, choreography, technical execution, theatrical production, and overall impact.
