PANABO CITY – A total of 108 examinees from Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) participated in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) held on September 29, 2024. DNSC achieved an 80.56% passing rate, significantly higher than the national average of 56.88%.
Among first-time takers, 83 out of 95 alumni successfully earned their licenses, while four out of 13 repeat takers passed the exam. The Professional Regulation Commission released the results on December 13, 2024, through its official website.
In specific programs, the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) Major in English achieved a 94.44% passing rate, with 17 out of 18 examinees passing. BSED Mathematics recorded a 95% success rate, with 19 out of 20 takers passing.
BSED Sciences reported a passing rate of 81.81%, with nine out of 11 examinees succeeding. Meanwhile, BSED TLE (Technology and Livelihood Education) had 38 passers out of 51 candidates, resulting in a 74.50% success rate.
The LEPT exam covered a broad range of topics, including general education subjects such as English, Filipino, Mathematics, Sciences, and Social Sciences, as well as Professional Education and Specialized Subjects.
