PANABO CITY — Officials and employees of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) stood in solidarity with the Local Government of Panabo City in commemorating the 127th Philippine Independence Day on June 12, 2025. The program was held at the Museo Panabo Grounds in Barangay New Pandan.

DNSC’s participation was facilitated by the DNSC Faculty Association and the General Administrative and Support Services Organization (GASSO). DNSC College President Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa led the delegation, joining Panabo City Mayor Jose E. Relampagos and other local government officials.

The theme of this year’s celebration echoed the spirit of resilience, freedom, and unity that has shaped the Philippine identity. As a state college dedicated to nurturing civic-minded and socially responsible graduates, DNSC recognizes the importance of commemorating the country’s independence.

The flag-raising ceremony, wreath-laying, and cultural presentations served as reminders of the sacrifices made by Filipino heroes and the enduring responsibility of every citizen to protect the country’s sovereignty and values.
