PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College advanced to 1,408th place worldwide in the 2026 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, improving by 43 places from its 1,451st global ranking in 2025.
The latest ranking places DNSC 93rd in the Philippines and 6th in Davao Region. DNSC’s 2026 ranking was recorded among 2,016 higher education institutions worldwide.
The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings assesses universities based on their commitment to sustainability and environmentally conscious practices across their campuses and operations. The ranking provides a global platform for higher education institutions to demonstrate initiatives that promote sustainable development.
DNSC’s improved standing from 1,451st in 2025 to 1,408th in 2026 represents a 43-place increase in the global ranking. The achievement reflects the College’s continuing efforts to integrate sustainability into its institutional practices, campus environment, and development initiatives as it advances its mission toward becoming a university.
