
PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College equipped its Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) members through a two-day training on gender sensitivity and workplace safety held on September 7–8, 2026, at the University of the Immaculate Conception.
The activity, wuth the theme: “Building Safe and Gender-responsive Workplace: Gender Sensitivity and CODI Capacity Building”, was hosted by the Region XI Gender and Development Advocates Network (RGAN). It was also endorsed by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) Region XI.
It aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of the CODI’s mandate, roles, and responsibilities; strengthen institutional mechanisms for preventing and responding to sexual harassment and gender-related workplace concerns; and enhance the competencies of state university and college personnel in promoting gender sensitivity and fostering safe, respectful, and inclusive workplaces.
Representing DNSC were CODI members: Dr. Reir Erlinda Cutad, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Raquel Edjec, Director of the Human Resource Management Division, represented by Joan Beverly Navarrete, Junry Lanoy, Coordinator for Student Discipline, Sabar Hasan, Mariquit Alano, Felmark Levara, Revrev Tio, and DNSC Gender and Development Unit Head, Sadie Law-ay.
