PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), through its Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), conducted Elevating General Services: 2025 Trends in Operational Efficiency, Safety, and Sustainable Practices Seminar on April 10–11, 2025. The activity was held at the Gender and Development (GAD) Conference Hall on the first day and at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) on the second day.

The seminar aimed to enhance the capacity of the General Services Unit (GSU) by equipping personnel with knowledge on occupational safety, hazard management, and emergency preparedness. It reflects DNSC’s ongoing commitment to professional development and operational excellence across all levels of the institution.

In his opening message, Administrative Services Division Director Rhaymart Joe O. Gella emphasized the value of every member of the workforce. “This activity is a testament to the management’s support for all of us. There’s no hierarchy in public service. We all play crucial roles in ensuring efficient operations,” he said.

Naeducate mi about hazards like health hazards. Happy ko kay gitagaan mi’g time, gipahalagahan mi nila (I have learned a lot from this seminar, like health hazards. I feel valued and happy),” she shared.

The seminar concluded with closing remarks from Administrative Officer IV Jeanny Mae B. Rayon, who commended the participants’ commitment to growth and learning. “To our GSU personnel, your dedication is truly commendable. Let’s move forward with renewed commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainability,” she encouraged.
