PANABO CITY – In celebration of National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Month, Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) held a virtual program on June 20, 2025, via Microsoft Teams. With the theme “Walang Iwanan sa Digital Bayanihan”, the event celebrated the importance of inclusive digital transformation and collective action in advancing technology for education and public service.
Organized by the Institute of Computing and the Technology Support Services Unit, the celebration engaged faculty and staff in a Cybersecurity Awareness Session and a Digital Challenge Contest.
Mr. Ian Jay T. Padios, DNSC’s Data Protection Officer, led the session, highlighting the crucial role of digital responsibility, data privacy, and safe online practices as the College expands its digital initiatives. The Digital Challenge Contest tested participants’ knowledge in digital literacy and problem-solving.
This year’s celebration reinforced DNSC’s commitment to building a digitally empowered academic community. Through shared efforts and ongoing capacity-building, the College continues to uphold the spirit of digital bayanihan.
