PANABO CITY — Rallies, dinks, and volleys fired up Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) faculty and staff as they battled for the top spot in the Pickleball Tournament, held on September 18, at RJ3 Pickleball Station, as part of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) Celebration, dubbed Kasadyaan Festival 2026.
Representing Tribu Hanan, Tribu Lalahon, Tribu Mayari, and Tribu Tala, DNSC employees went head-to-head across five categories: Women’s Singles, Men’s Singles, Women’s Doubles, Men’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
The teams traded shots across the court as players tested their speed, placement, and consistency in a competition that combined athleticism with camaraderie.
Tribu Mayari emerged as the overall champion after sweeping almost all categories, while Tribu Hanan secured the runner-up spot. Tribu Lalahon finished third, followed by Tribu Tala in fourth.
The tournament was part of the College’s wellness activities for the annual civil service celebration, giving faculty and staff an opportunity to stay active while strengthening camaraderie in the workplace.
