PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s Institute of Advanced Studies (DNSC-IAdS), Graduate Students Society (GraSS), and the Office of Student Development and Services (OSDS) joined forces to host GradSchool Festival 2025 on March 15 at the DNSC Gymnasium.
OSDS Director Josiedel C. Santamaria highlighted the significance of student organizations in her welcome remarks, stating, “Student organizations serve as vital platforms for networking, skill-building, and fostering a sense of belonging. They complement your academic journey while promoting personal growth, interdisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful engagement with the wider community.”
IAdS Dean Nickel Jean S. Lagare-Sastine echoed this sentiment, encouraging graduate students to maintain a balance between their studies and well-being.
The festival featured a research presentation, student publication opportunities, guidance and counseling sessions, medical check-ups, and sports activities. The event also recognized the newly elected GraSS officers.
