PANABO CITY – Ms. Christine Mae A. Edullantes, a faculty member of Davao del Norte State College’s Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology (DNSC-BSMB) program, is among the five scholars who will undertake doctorate studies in Australia in early 2024.
She is part of the first cohort of the John Allwright Fellowship (JAF), a program that is a product of the collaboration between the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR). She attended the Australia Award Philippines’ Pre-departure Briefing and REAP Finalization Workshop on November 21 – 23, 2023 at Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Ortigas Avenue, Quezon City. Through the activity, the scholars were able to map out possible contributions to their fields and society during the reentering phase of the program.
JAF includes financial assistance to doctorate studies applicants in the fields of agricultural, aquatic, and natural resources. Ms. Edullantes is set to pursue her studies at Southern Cross University, New South Wales, Australia.
