PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), through the initiative of the Office of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, hosted its first Suppliers’ Summit on July 19, 2024, at the DNSC Audio-Visual Room (AVR).
“The college aims to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining exceptional quality. This summit is a chance for us to engage in open dialogue, build trust, and foster innovations,” explained Dr. Reir Erlinda E. Cutad, Vice President for Administration and Finance, in her welcome address.
Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa, SUC President III, extended her gratitude to the valued suppliers, stating that the event was both timely and crucial in enhancing the college’s procurement processes. She emphasized the college’s commitment to improving service delivery and strengthening partnerships.
The summit featured presentations by Engr. Rogelio O. Flores, Jr., who discussed the Collection of Request for Quotation and Purchase Order; Jinnah T. Enumerables, who covered the Acceptance of Supplies, Materials, and Equipment and Payment Processing upon Completion of Delivery; and Director Rhaymart Joe O. Gella, who talked about Processing of Payments.
Following the presentations, an open forum allowed suppliers to ask questions and raise concerns, which were promptly addressed by the respective unit heads.
Concluding the event, Dr. Leo D. Rayon Jr., Director of Administrative Services, remarked that the summit served as a platform for fostering innovation, transparency, and collaboration in procurement processes, and he valued the suppliers’ active participation and insights.
