PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), represented by College President Joy M. Sorrosa and Director for Executive Affairs Melissa G. Dalumay, participated in the 8th Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) Forum. The event was held on August 26, 2024, at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel.

Organized by AUAP, NIMS University Rajasthan-Jaipur, India, Master’s Institute of Development Academy Seminary (MIDAS), Thailand, and CHED, the forum featured discussions on critical topics such as Leadership for Value by University Digitization, Empowering Future Leaders, and Influencing Young Minds through Leadership Training. These topics were encompassed by the theme, “Leadership and Value-Driven Schemes for Higher Education Development in the Philippines”.

This forum provided DNSC with a valuable platform to network with other Philippine HEIs and international members, fostering collaborations and sharing best practices. The insights gained from the discussions are expected to drive significant advancements in higher education, in terms of introducing and implementing modern leadership frameworks.
