PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College entered into a partnership with Landbank Countryside Development Foundation, Inc. through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony for the implementation of the Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program on May 21, 2026, via Zoom.

The virtual ceremony gathered Landbank officials, headed by Roy C. Oscillada, LDCFI Executive Director, alongside DNSC representatives, to formalize the collaboration aimed at expanding access to higher education for deserving students nationwide.

The Iskolar ng LANDBANK Program provides educational assistance to dependents of agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs), as well as small farmers and fishers across the country. The initiative, spearheaded by LandBank of the Philippines, aims to empower deserving individuals and contribute to socio-economic development through education.

In her message, DNSC President Joy M. Sorrosa appreciated the program, “In the midst of economic challenges we face today, many of our students in State Universities and Colleges struggle to meet their daily needs. While the government provides numerous scholarship programs, the demand far outweighs the supply, leaving many deserving students without adequate support… Landbank’s scholarship program is therefore a source of hope.”
