PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, through its Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), joined the nationwide celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary for the month of September by launching month-long activities, starting with a Zumba competition on September 5, 2022, at the MPEC grounds.

College President Joy M. Sorrosa rallied the DNSC community during her opening remarks, encouraging everyone to create a joyful work environment and establish healthy relationships that seek to understand one another. The theme for this year’s celebration is, “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-ready Servant-Heroes”.

DNSC is set to host Sports and e-Sports festivals to be participated by its employees, a team building activity at Eden Resort and Nature Park, Friendship Games with other State Universities and Colleges, and a culminating Araw ng Parangal and Tribute to the Retirees. By virtue of President Proclamation No. 1050, series of 1997, September of every year is declared as Civil Service Month and its festivities shall be spearheaded by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
