PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) delivered a strong performance in the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), producing two national topnotchers and posting an institutional passing rate above the national passing percentage, based on results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
In the Secondary Level examination, both topnotchers from DNSC are graduates of the Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Sciences: Rank 7, Jessa O. Legaspino (93.90%), and Rank 9, Rhealyn V. Geroche (93.40%).
DNSC also recorded an overall passing rate of 94.27%. Of 192 examinees, 181 passed. First-time takers tallied a 97.28% success rate (179 out of 184), while repeat takers recorded 25% (2 out of 8).
The March 2026 LEPT yielded a 56.03% passing rate for elementary level (18,376 passers out of 32,796 examinees) and 73.10% for secondary level (45,001 out of 61,561). The examination was conducted on March 15, 2026, across multiple testing centers nationwide, including Metro Manila, Davao, Cebu, Iloilo, Baguio, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.
The Board of Professional Teachers is chaired by Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, with Dr. Paz I. Lucido as Vice Chairperson, and members Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy.
